Grant

Grant is a fun-loving, 2-year-old Shepherd Mix who arrived at our rescue on March 29th, 2024, from Kern County Animal Services. He's a big, goofy boy who enjoys spending time outdoors, sunbathing, and playing with his ball independently. While he might be a little shy with new people at first, he warms up quickly, especially with the help of a tasty treat! Grant sometimes enjoys short play sessions with other dogs but generally prefers his own company. He's learning to be more cooperative about going inside and is making good progress with his sit and down commands, as well as leash training. He also enjoys napping, so if you have a comfy spot for him to relax, he'll be a happy pup!

Ideal Home

Grant would love a home where he can enjoy plenty of outdoor time and sunshine. He's also quite fond of napping, so a cozy spot for him to snooze would be ideal!

Ongoing Health

Grant is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Grant is working on his basic commands and leash manners. He's also being introduced to place training and seems to enjoy it as a form of napping. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll continue to blossom!
