About Rabbit

Hi there! My name is Rabbit, and I’m a special girl who has come a very long way. I’ve been living with my foster family in Lander, Wyoming for the past nine months, where I share my home with two adults and three other dogs. During this time, I’ve been learning all sorts of important doggie skills — how to live in a home, how to communicate with other dogs, and most importantly, how to trust people. I'm finally ready to meet my forever family! When I was first found, I had been living in an abandoned home with many other dogs and didn’t know much about humans. At first, I was unsure and cautious. But with patience, consistency, and kindness, I’ve grown more confident every day. I now understand that people can be safe, gentle, and loving. I’m still a sensitive soul, and I do best when my boundaries are respected. One of my favorite things now is cuddling — especially when it’s on my terms. When I choose to snuggle, it’s a big deal, and it means I trust you. Those moments are incredibly sweet and rewarding.

Ideal Home

I get along well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a calm, dog-savvy home that understands that some of the most special dogs are the ones who take a little time. I’m not in a rush — I’m looking for the right person or family who will continue to let me grow at my own pace.

Ongoing Health

No specific health concerns are mentioned.

Training & Support

I’m still a sensitive soul, and I do best when my boundaries are respected. If you’re patient, kind, and willing to build a relationship based on trust, I promise I’ll meet you there with loyalty and quiet affection.
