Maeve

Maeve is a lovely and spunky Bulldog with a heart full of playfulness! She's been with us for a while and we'd love to see her find her forever family soon. Maeve recently enjoyed a holiday foster, where she did wonderfully with the children and soaked up all the attention. Her foster reported she was great with everyone and only had two potty accidents.

Ideal Home

Maeve would thrive in a home with an adopter who has experience with brachycephalic breeds. Due to her spinal structure, potential adopters should be prepared for the possibility of joint supplements in her future to ensure her mobility remains healthy and pain-free.

Ongoing Health

Maeve has been diagnosed with Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Disease, common in flat-faced breeds. To help prevent inflammation of her airway, it's important to keep her cool and minimize stress. She also has a history of GI issues, so a mindful approach to treats, avoiding frequent food changes, and consistent reinforcement of potty and crate training will be crucial.

Training & Support

Reinforcing potty training and crate training will be important habits for Maeve's successful transition. She is very food motivated, which can be a great asset in training!
