Gunner

Meet Gunner, a sweet, playful, loving boy who enjoys belly rubs, playing, and napping with his people. He is an indoor dog who also loves spending time outside, without digging or excessive barking. At 78 pounds, Gunner is a big boy with a big heart.

Gunner warms up to resident dogs only after very slow introductions, but he reacts strongly to unfamiliar dogs and dogs encountered on walks. He would do best with big kids and a confident handler who can manage his pulling outdoors.

Ideal Home

Gunner would thrive with people who enjoy an affectionate, playful companion and can provide patient dog introductions and confident walk handling. A home with big kids is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Gunner was found as a stray with a severely injured ear, which was treated by Mazie’s Mission. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
