Buddy

Buddy is a handsome 1-year-old Lab mix who weighs about 75 lbs. He came to us from a difficult situation where he was left outside and not properly cared for. Thankfully, one of our wonderful foster families stepped in and gave him a loving home to recover and thrive. Buddy has blossomed into a joyful and affectionate dog who believes he's a lap dog! He's gained weight, learned to love his crate as a safe space, and is house-trained. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Ideal Home

Buddy would love an active family that enjoys exploring the outdoors and showering him with affection. Because he's an excited and happy boy, he may jump to give hugs, so a home with children 10 years and older would be best.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is vetted, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Buddy has excellent manners and knows to wait for his food or let you know when he needs to go potty. He is also crate-trained and uses his crate as a comfortable "safe space." He gets along well with other dogs. We don't have information on how he is with cats.

• All adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of dogs.
• We are a shelterless rescue, and all dogs are housed in foster homes.
• Once your application is reviewed, a volunteer will contact you to discuss if your family is a good match.

Transportation

Buddy is currently in a foster home and can be transported to New England.
