Catfish

Catfish is a lovely senior lady, about 8 years young and weighing a solid 69 lbs. She was found as a stray with scars that told a story of a tough past. The shelter environment was too much for her, and she was even placed on the euthanasia list when she fell ill. Thankfully, a dedicated foster stepped in and rescued her just in the nick of time! Catfish has an abundance of love to give, though she's still learning how to accept it. She can be a bit too enthusiastic about affection, wanting to be as close as possible, not out of pushiness but because kindness is still a new and wonderful experience for her. With patience and gentle guidance, she's discovering that love can be calm and safe. She's dog-neutral and does best with well-behaved dogs who understand and respect her space. Catfish is ready to leave her past behind and find a forever home where she can finally feel cherished and loved for the rest of her days.
