Alcatraz

Alcatraz (we call her Ali) is a sweet and loving girl who came to us a bit scared and skinny after surviving parvo. She's blossomed into a confident pup who greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags and a desire to please. Ali is learning about boundaries as she can get a bit excited and may jump or mouth, but she's a quick study and eager to make you happy. She's a quiet dog, only barking when she's about to get the zoomies or when she's trying to have a conversation with you – it's truly a priceless quirk!

Ideal Home

Ali would thrive in a home where she can continue to learn and grow. She loves to play with other dogs and is a natural runner, so an active environment would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

Ali is a parvo survivor and is still working on her potty training due to being kept indoors for much of her early life.

Training & Support

Ali is food motivated and can sit on command. She enjoys toys and chews and is not destructive. She also does well in a covered wire kennel for up to four hours, as long as she has a toy. She keeps her kennel clean and doesn't bark or whine when provided with enrichment.

• Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
