Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Dahlia Daisy Flower is an 11-month-old "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as delicate and beautiful as her floral namesake. She's a sweet, snuggly, and fun-loving pup who is eager to find her forever home. Dahlia currently weighs 35 pounds and is expected to reach a maximum of 40-45 pounds. She's a fantastic companion for adventures, enjoying hikes, exploring parks, and even taking a dip in creeks or rivers. Dahlia is also a great copilot in the car and settles well at night in her crate, though she does sometimes cry when first left alone. She lives harmoniously with four other dogs of various sizes and enjoys playing with pine cones and carrying sticks. While she hasn't been tested with cats or children, we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, ideally with another playful dog to keep her company. She could also do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo if she receives ample daily walks. A home that can re-establish her crate routine at night would be beneficial.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is current on all her vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has been tested for heartworm and will be treated if necessary.

Training & Support

Dahlia is house and crate trained, though she may cry initially when left alone in her crate. This should be considered for homes with shared walls. She is an eager learner and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

Dahlia is currently being fostered in Marysville, WA. Transportation is available nationwide, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs.
