Sterling Bear is a handsome, 2-year-old Lab mix who weighs around 72 lbs. He's a golden-hearted gentleman with a calm and steady temperament, making him the perfect companion. Sterling Bear is easygoing, smart, and has wonderful house manners. He enjoys going on adventures and is also a fantastic snuggle buddy. He's great with other dogs who have a happy-go-lucky personality and enjoy playtime but also know when to take a break. While he loves playing with other dogs, he's equally happy being the center of your attention and soaking up all the love.

Ideal Home

Sterling Bear would love a forever home with a nice big backyard for him to roam, chase squirrels, and relax in the sun. We have not seen him with children, but based on his personality, we believe he would make a great family dog.

Ongoing Health

All vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, has been completed. He has also been tested for heartworm and received treatment if needed.

Training & Support

Sterling Bear is crate and potty trained, knows basic commands like "sit," and is a very smart boy who loves treats. He's already well-behaved and respectful in the home.

Transporation

Sterling Bear is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
