Toffee is a delightful 6-month-old puppy with an estimated mix of Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever. She's a bundle of playful energy, curiosity, and cuddles, loving nothing more than playtime with her siblings and indulging in long naps. Her days are a happy cycle of eating, sleeping, and playing, embodying the quintessential puppy experience. Ideal Home

Toffee is a young puppy who will thrive in a home that is prepared for the commitment, training, and socialization that puppyhood requires. She needs a family dedicated to establishing routine, structure, and boundaries to help shape her into a well-rounded adult dog.

Ongoing Health

Toffee's adoption fee includes all vetting, such as DAPP vaccines with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration. She will also receive a health certificate confirming she is fit for travel.

Training & Support

Toffee will require a family committed to consistent training and socialization. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival to aid in potty training, energy management, and overall development. Our team of trainers on staff also assess and work with each animal on behavior modification as needed, creating individualized plans that include crate training, potty training, and leash walking to prepare them for their future homes.

• The adoption fee is $1,000.00, with an additional $87 surcharge for transportation.
• Adoption fees contribute to the extensive care each animal receives, helping to cover costs that can range from $804-$920 for a healthy dog and exceeding $2,000+ for those needing specialized care.

Transportation

Toffee is currently in the Houston, Texas area. We offer nationwide transport through our USDA-certified rescue transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel for all pets. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up their pets in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will be able to track your pet's journey in real time and receive photo updates. Please note that Texas adopters must pick up their pets from the Houston area.
