Alder

Alder is a shy but friendly 3-year-old gentleman who came to us from TX. He craves affection and attention and is eager to show his excitement once he feels comfortable. We suspect he'll master the Pyr paw in no time!

Ideal Home

Alder would do best in a home with a calmer, playful dog who can help him come out of his shell. He is pretty mild-mannered, so a home with children beyond the screeching years would likely be fine. While a fenced yard is ideal, he walks well on a leash, making a home without one acceptable as long as you are committed to providing him with daily walks. He is protective of his food, so he will need to be fed separately from other dogs.

Alder is a healthy boy with no ongoing health concerns noted.

Training & Support

Alder is still learning how to interact with other dogs and will need a patient owner to help him build his confidence. He is protective of his food, so separate feeding is required.
