Luca's story began with heartbreak. He was abandoned at an oil field alongside two other dogs, left to wonder if anyone would ever come back for him. Thankfully, rescue stepped in, and those difficult days are now behind him. Despite everything he's been through, Luca has remained one of the sweetest, most loving boys you'll ever meet. His favorite place is right by your side, soaking up every bit of affection you have to give. Whether it's gentle pets, belly rubs, or simply keeping you company, Luca is happiest when he's close to his people. He's doing well in his crate and is making great progress with his leash skills every day. Luca is eager to learn and just wants someone who will be patient and continue helping him build his confidence. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion, though he'd be just as happy soaking up all the attention himself. Luca is a 2-year-old, 33 lb. neutered male Aussie mix. He is up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm.
Training & Support
Luca is making great progress with his leash skills and is doing well in his crate. He is eager to learn and will benefit from continued training and positive reinforcement to build his confidence.
