Flacko

Meet Flacko! He's a handsome, 8-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix who currently weighs around 40lbs. Flacko is a certified good boy who absolutely adores people and other dogs. He's eager to make friends, and while he'd love to be buddies with the foster cat, his playful enthusiasm might be a bit much for some kitties. Flacko is a quick learner and his greatest desire is to please his forever family.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can help him navigate the world with confidence. He enjoys playing with dogs of various sizes and has been great with his foster's 10-year-old nephew. He would likely enjoy having a human sibling to play with. However, he is still working on his puppy manners, such as jumping and leash pulling, so he will need supervision around younger children.

Flacko is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained. He is working on improving his manners, including not jumping and not pulling on the leash. Consistent supervision and positive reinforcement will help him continue to grow into a well-behaved companion.

Transportation

Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports depart every few weeks, and he will be scheduled for the next available transport upon approval.
