ChaCha is an estimated 8-year-old, 11 lb Havanese who is starting her second chance at life. She was released from a breeder and may have experienced mishandling, so she's learning what love, safety, and kindness feel like. ChaCha has never shown aggression or tried to bite, even when scared. She's a gentle soul who needs patience and understanding as she learns to trust. Approach her slowly and calmly, especially when picking her up or handling her. She is kennel trained and is working hard on potty training. She loves pulled chicken and will gently take it from your hand. Every week, she takes small steps in building trust, and it's rewarding to watch her confidence grow. She does well with other dogs and benefits from canine companions, who can show her the way and encourage her journey to trust. ChaCha enjoys being outside with her people and dogs, roaming the yard, and learning to let go of her fears and just be a dog.

Ideal Home

ChaCha is looking for a very patient, quiet home without children. A secure fenced yard attached to the home is required so she can safely explore and build confidence at her own pace.

ChaCha is completely vetted, including a fresh dental.

Training & Support

ChaCha is currently working hard on potty training. She benefits from canine companions to help her learn and build trust.
