Polar

Meet Polar, a nearly one-year-old Husky mix who is as cute as she is spirited! Polar came to us looking for a home with more time for her, and now she's ready to find her forever family. She can be a little bossy and doesn't always love to share, but she's learning and improving every day! Polar is crate trained and does well in certain areas of the house, but she's a very energetic pup. If she isn't kept busy, she'll find her own entertainment, and her decisions aren't always the best ones. She's getting used to harnesses and leashes, and is discovering the joy of adventures outside. Polar also enjoys being brushed and playing with other dogs, though it's best if toys aren't part of the playtime. She needs a strong, loving leader to guide her.

Ideal Home

Polar would thrive in a home with an active family who can provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She would be happiest as the only dog in the household, as sharing isn't her favorite activity.

Ongoing Health

Polar is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease.

Training & Support

Polar is still in training and is learning about house manners. She needs a consistent and loving leader to help her continue to make good decisions. She's learning to be more comfortable with leashes and harnesses.
