Meet Pongo! This one-year-old, 60-pound pup is as affectionate as he is adventurous. Pongo was found wandering the streets of downtown Memphis, but he hasn't let his past define him. He's intelligent, eager to please, and truly thrives when he's spending time with his people. Pongo loves a good game of fetch and tug-of-war, enjoys carrying his toys around, and is motivated by treats, making him a fun and rewarding dog to train. He rides well in the car and gets along with female dogs of similar size, so he might enjoy a home with another young, playful canine companion. Pongo is also great with teenagers and loves being included in everyday family life, often following his people from room to room.
