Chip

As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix, weighing around 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and be around his people. Chip is a Velcro dog and will be your shadow everywhere you go. When he first meets new people, Chip can be a bit cautious, but once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever! Chip adores his people, loves to go on sniffing walks (and does well on the leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves to be outdoors! He is also the king of costumes; he can rock any outfit and does so frequently. Chip has done well with his foster dog siblings, who are calm and enjoy his play style. Chip LOVES to play, and he plays his heart out, so we highly recommend using slow introductions to other dogs and think he would do best with more calm/submissive doggy siblings that would be happy to engage with him in his play. He would also do well as an only dog in the house if he could go on outings every so often. Chip does ask that he not live with any cats. Chip has also done well around older children.

Ideal Home

Chip's ideal humans would enjoy having him be their right-hand man and would understand that when he's left home alone, he can be anxious without his family. He would thrive with a family that can keep up with his training. He would do best with calm/submissive doggy siblings or as an only dog if he can go on outings. Chip asks that he not live with any cats.

• Transports run every few weeks, and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
• We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. If you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision-making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
• Listed breed and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time.
