Willow Gentle Family Girl and Ready Bestie

Willow is the kind of dog who seems happiest when life is simple. A comfy place to relax, a few snackies, her people nearby, and a predictable routine she can count on. That's Willow.

Willow is estimated to be around 4 years old, weighs 78 lbs, and looks very much like a Rottweiler/Lab mix, though rescue rules apply and breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that she is a gentle, easygoing family dog who has already proven herself to be a wonderful house companion. She has a wonderfully calm, gentle relationship with children and other dogs, and has met cats appropriately. She is house trained, crate trained, and has excellent house manners. Willow knows "sit" and "shake" and is very willing to show off those skills when snackies are involved.

Ideal Home

Willow would likely be happiest in a home that appreciates her calm nature and allows her a little time to settle into new situations. Once she feels safe and secure, she's the kind of dog who simply wants to be part of the family. Her foster shared that she does identify as a lovable lap-dog, so be forewarned, Willow believes that lap-dog is a state of mind, not a body type.

Willow can be a bit shy in new environments, but she remains easy to handle. She is more of a thoughtful, low-key dog than a social butterfly and generally preferred minding her own business over seeking interaction or being pushy.
