Skynyrd

Skynyrd is a friendly guy! He was adopted in 2021 and returned recently after his owner was no longer able to care for him due to their health. He lived with a cat and another dog, enjoyed naps and cuddles. Skynyrd really needs to lose about 40 pounds so he's hoping to find a weight loss buddy so he can improve his health!

His foster says "Skynyrd was anxious when he first came. He wasn't eating and he was constantly wanting to get in the car. When walking, he also seemed to be looking for his previous owner or possibly a previous dog buddy. He got better with pulling as the week went on. As the week went on, he became very loving, wanting to be petted and would try to crawl in my lap."

Another foster says "Skynyrd is the sweetest boy. He loves to cuddle, go for walks, and meet new people and dogs. He is an old man and is very low maintenance. The way to his heart is belly rubs and hot dogs. He does very well alone and has never gone potty inside the house, even after my 9-hour shifts. I hope he finds his forever home to enjoy his senior days. He is seriously the best!"
