Mocha Sunshine

If sunshine could grow four legs and bounce around the house at full speed, it would probably look a lot like Mocha. This little girl approaches life with her whole heart wide open, and she truly seems to believe that every single person she meets is already her best friend. Personal space? She has never heard of it. Stranger danger? Absolutely not. Mocha's idea of introducing herself is immediately rolling onto her back for belly rubs, climbing into your lap like she has known you forever, and looking up at you with the happiest little face imaginable. She is the kind of puppy that fills a room with energy, laughter, and love the second she walks in.

Mocha is around 7 months old and believed to be a Chihuahua/Lab mix, which honestly explains a lot about her personality. She has the tiny, silly, animated charm of a Chihuahua mixed with the playful, social, people-loving spirit of a Lab. The result is one unbelievably lovable puppy who is always on the move and always ready to make life more fun. She bounces around like a tiny bunny rabbit, zooming from toy to toy, person to person, tail wagging the entire time. She has this goofy, busy little personality where she just has to be involved in everything going on around her. If you are walking to another room, she is coming too. If you sit down, she is immediately trying to curl up in your lap. If another dog starts playing, she is already halfway there before they even invite her. She is incredibly affectionate and thrives on attention and connection. Mocha does not just enjoy love; she absolutely soaks it up. She wants pets, cuddles, kisses, playtime, and companionship all wrapped into one happy little life. She has such a naturally joyful spirit that it is almost impossible not to smile when you are around her. Even when she is being wild and zooming around the house, there is something so innocent and funny about the way she does it that you cannot help but laugh. She is the type of puppy who turns ordinary moments into happy ones just by existing nearby.

Mocha is currently living in a loving foster home where she is doing wonderfully. She is great with other dogs and genuinely loves having animal friends to play with. She has a playful, social energy that makes her fit in beautifully with other pets, and she would likely love a home with another friendly dog who can keep up with her fun-loving personality. Her foster absolutely adores her, and it is easy to understand why. Mocha brings so much life and happiness into a home. She is the kind of dog who makes every day feel a little lighter and more exciting.

Ideal Home

Mocha's ideal home is one that is ready for all the fun, chaos, laughter, and sweetness that comes with raising a happy puppy. Toys on the floor, little zoomies through the living room, random cuddle attacks, and endless excitement over absolutely everything – that is life with Mocha. She wants to be part of the family, part of the adventures, part of the couch time, part of every little moment.

Ongoing Health

Mocha is a healthy puppy who has received all age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP vaccines with boosters, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been spayed, microchipped, and received a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.

Training & Support

Like any young puppy, Mocha is still learning and growing, and she will need a family committed to continuing her training and helping her mature into the amazing adult dog she is already showing signs of becoming. She is smart, eager to interact, and very people-oriented, which are wonderful qualities for training and bonding.

Transportation

Mocha is currently located in Texas. Transportation to various states is available through our rescue run USDA certified transport system. If you are in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, or Canada, transport may be available. If you are in the Greater Houston area, you must pick up your pet from our Texas-based property. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs.
