Floki McFloof is an all-around amazing, lovable, handsome, adventurous, and smart boy with striking baby blue eyes! He's a total lover boy and the perfect mix of affectionate and fun, sometimes even believing he's a lap dog who just wants to snuggle up close. We believe he's a Husky mix, approximately 1-2 years old and weighing around 46 lbs. He's dog-friendly and has done well with all the dogs he's met, including the Shiba Inus he lives with currently. Floki enjoys games of chase and wrestling but also knows when it's time for a break and loves to spend quality time with his people. He's a smart, treat-motivated boy who already knows how to sit and shake! His leash skills are a work in progress, but with continued practice, he'll be a pro in no time. Floki would make a fantastic hiking or adventure buddy and is sure to love the snow! He rides well in the car and loves to feel the wind in his fur. Floki has beautifully balanced energy, happy to join you on a hike or simply relax by your side. He has great house manners and is crate and potty trained. We believe he would do best in a home with a backyard.
Ideal Home
A fun, happy, confident female dog that likes to play and also appreciates calmer moments would be a great companion for Floki. However, if you don't have other dogs, he could also be just as happy being the center of your attention. A home with a backyard is preferred over an apartment.

Floki is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
