Mitzy

Mitzy is a beautiful Doberman/Husky mix with the perfect balance of playful energy and sweet companionship! She's approximately 1 year old and weighs 49 lbs. Mitzy is friendly, affectionate, and playful, but she also has a calm side that makes her a wonderful companion. She is a good listener, enjoys being around people, and does well with other dogs and children. One of her favorite things is playing in the water, making her a great fit for an active family that enjoys outdoor fun and adventures. Mitzy was born to a stray and is vaccinated, spayed, and heartworm negative.

Ideal Home

Mitzy would thrive in an active family that enjoys outdoor fun and adventures. A home without cats is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Mitzy is vaccinated, spayed, and tested negative for heartworm and 4DX.

Training & Support

Mitzy is crate trained and potty trained. She is still young and would thrive with continued structure, exercise, and love to help her grow into an amazing lifelong companion.

• We strive to answer every inquiry in a timely manner. Please be patient as we are an all-volunteer rescue. We do our best to match you with the right dog.
• The adoption fee is $400 and includes spay/neuter if over 3 months of age, rabies, bordetella, DHPP, microchip, and transport of the dog to your area.

Transportation

Mitzy is located in McAllen, Texas. She can be transported to the East Coast, mainly serving NJ, NY, PA, CT, RI, VT, and NH areas. Drop-off locations for MA, NH, and ME are in Brattleboro, Vermont, or Rhode Island. Other drop-off locations include Philadelphia, PA; Ridgefield, NJ; Brewster, NY; and several cities in Connecticut, Maryland, and VA. There are no meet and greets.
