Meet Clarice – Your Perfect Companion Is Waiting

Clarice is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how she hasn't been scooped up yet. Just days before she was scheduled to be euthanized, one of our volunteers stepped in - and we are so incredibly glad they did. Because Clarice? She's truly something special.

This sweet, happy girl is the total package. She's wonderful with other dogs, loves people of all ages, and brings her joyful, easygoing energy wherever she goes. Whether it's a walk around the neighborhood, a car ride adventure, or just relaxing at home, Clarice is right by your side, happy to be part of it all.

In her foster home, Clarice is already shining:

Almost completely house trained
Crate trained and settles well
Walks nicely on leash
Rides great in the car
Knows “sit” and is learning “come”

She's smart, eager to please, and has a wonderful balance of playful and calm energy - ready for fun when you are, and just as happy to relax and cuddle.

Most of all, Clarice has so much love to give. After everything she's been through, she greets the world with kindness, trust, and a wagging tail. She's ready for a forever home where she can finally feel safe, loved, and part of a family.

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
