About Trouble

My name is Trouble, and while my name might sound a little naughty, I promise I'm a really good boy! I'm a small guy, though I might look bigger in pictures. I recently arrived in rescue after being abandoned in a cold house with a hole in the roof. It was a pretty scary time, and I didn't always know where my next meal was coming from. Thankfully, someone found me and brought me to a temporary foster home where I'm learning all about love and safety. I'm doing so well! I'm quiet in my crate, I go outside to potty like a champ, and I even learned how to walk on a leash – which I'm very proud of! When I first come out, I might be a little energetic because I spent so much time crated, but I quickly settle down and just want to be near my people.

Ideal Home

I would love a home with a backyard where I can explore. I'm looking for a person of my own, or a home that understands the need for crate feeding and patience. I'd be happy to be your one-and-only, but I'm also a dog-friendly pup! I've even been crated with another dog and did just fine. I used to have a little bit of food reactivity around other dogs when I didn't know if I'd eat again, but now I eat in my crate and show no aggression. I just don't like feeling like I have to compete. Cats might not be my thing, as I'm very curious about them.

Ongoing Health

I am not yet neutered and I'm not sure about my shots. I'm working on it!

Training & Support

I'm still learning, but I'm a fast learner and eager to please. I just need a little patience and understanding as I adjust to my new life.
