Meet Daisy!

Daisy is a sweet 10-year-old Shih Tzu weighing in at about 9+ pounds. She's a champion napper, especially when snuggled on the couch with a warm blanket. While she enjoys being near her people, she's not a big fan of being petted. She's also a great traveler, happy to snooze in the car with her bed and a tether. Daisy gets along well with her foster brother and enjoys leisurely walks, showing a peppy spirit when it's time to explore. She’s a quiet overnight sleeper and has no trouble settling in for the night. Daisy is a real foodie, happily eating Honest Kitchen, Just Food For Dogs, and extra protein. Her foster mom even cooks for her!

Ideal Home

A quiet home where she can relax and be near her loved ones would be perfect for Daisy. We recommend no small children due to her size and age. Her compatibility with cats is unknown, but a calm cat friend might be okay.

Ongoing Health

Daisy has a skin allergy that requires two baths a week with prescription shampoo. She also has a dry eye condition that needs twice-daily medication.

Training & Support

Daisy can get underfoot, especially when she's anticipating food, so some awareness is needed.

• The adoption fee is $500 and includes a 4dx negative test, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip.
• Adoptions to RI, NH, and NY require an additional $50 fee for the state-required Health Certificate.
