Betsy

Betsy is a 3-year-old, 55lb Golden Retriever mix who is as playful and silly as she is affectionate! She's a happy girl who is eager to please, especially when treats are involved. Betsy already knows how to sit and kennel on command, is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. She also enjoys car rides! Betsy loves other dogs and is great with kids, making her a wonderful family companion.

Ideal Home

Betsy would thrive in a home that can continue her positive reinforcement training and provide her with plenty of affection and playtime.

Ongoing Health

Betsy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is up-to-date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She is currently heartworm positive and will need to continue her treatment with our veterinarian in Chester, NJ. This treatment will be at our expense.

Training & Support

Betsy is a quick learner and responds well to treats. Continued positive reinforcement training will help her continue to grow and flourish.

Transportation

Betsy is currently being fostered in TX but is scheduled to travel to NJ on our next transport, arriving on July 11th. She is looking for an adopter or foster who is local to Chester, NJ, or able to travel there for her treatment drop-offs and pick-ups.
