Meet Horacio, a sweet Chihuahua mix who is about 2-3 years old and weighs 16 lbs. He had a rough start in life, found tied up, neglected, and mistreated, but he's now ready to leave his past behind and discover what it means to be safe, cared for, and loved. Horacio is a gentle and affectionate boy who enjoys car rides and showering his people with kisses. He has a playful spirit but is generally calm and easygoing, making him the perfect companion for someone seeking both love and tranquility. He enjoys short bursts of play followed by relaxing with his trusted humans. Despite his past, Horacio's heart is full of love, and he's eagerly waiting for a forever home where he will experience nothing but kindness, care, and affection. Adopting Horacio means gaining a loyal companion and a grateful soul.
It's important to understand that rescued dogs like Horacio may need an adjustment period to feel secure in a new environment. Patience, understanding, and a consistent routine will help build trust and strengthen your bond. Horacio is not house-trained.
