Meet Robin! This handsome 1-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, weighing around 85 pounds, has a gentle heart and a quiet spirit. Robin comes from a hoarding situation, so he's still learning what it means to be loved and how to trust. He's a thoughtful, sensitive soul who takes his time getting comfortable with new people, places, and experiences, and he'd prefer a quiet life away from the hustle and bustle. When startled, Robin's instinct is to retreat to a safe space, but with consistency, kindness, and reassurance, he's blossoming beautifully. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has started showing his playful side with his foster sibling, even engaging in a bit of slipper-stealing and blanket-snatching! Robin is treat-motivated, responds well to gentle correction, and has naturally good manners, observing and learning at his own pace. We are currently helping Robin gain some much-needed weight, and with good nutrition, he'll fill out into the magnificent boy he's meant to be.

Robin would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, a patient and understanding adopter who will let him progress at his own pace, and a confident resident dog to help him build his confidence. A calm environment where he can continue to learn that the world is a safe place will be ideal.
