Chewy

Chewy is a delightful male adult dog, weighing in as a small tri-color Jack Russell Terrier mix. He's a well-rounded pup who loves to play, run, and explore, but he's also a champion cuddler and napper. Chewy is intelligent and house-trained, eager to find a family to call his own and settle into. He previously lived with an elderly couple but had a bit too much energy for them. Since arriving at the shelter, Chewy has become a little nervous and can be temperamental due to being scared. However, he is a very sweet boy when he feels comfortable and just needs someone to help him feel loved and secure.

Ideal Home

Chewy would thrive in a home where he can have space to play and explore. He is not recommended for homes with other dogs or children under 8.

Chewy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chewy is house-trained and knows basic commands. He can be nervous and temperamental when scared, so he will need a patient and understanding adopter to help him build confidence and feel loved.
