Clyde

Hello there! I'm Clyde, a very sweet and gentle boy with a perpetually curious look in my eyes. I love people and other dogs, always greeting new friends with a gentle demeanor and a keen eye for vibes. When my foster parents come home, I'm incredibly affectionate, often winding around their legs for pets and scratches. I also enjoy exploring the yard with my foster siblings. I'm content in my crate during the workday or can be left in a room with another dog without any issues. I'm house-trained and not destructive, though I do enjoy a good benebone or bully stick now and then! I'm still learning about leash walks and tend to wander a bit, but I'm not a puller and prefer slow, sniff-filled strolls.

Ongoing Health

When I arrived, I was experiencing some medical challenges, but thanks to the wonderful care at the clinic, I'm well on my way to a full recovery! I still need to gain a few pounds, but I'm very motivated by treats – hot dogs are a current favorite!

Training & Support

I'm doing great with learning new things, especially with treats! I've learned "sit" in just a few days. I'm still getting the hang of leash walking, preferring slow, meandering adventures with plenty of sniffing opportunities.
