Bullseye is a sweet, 6.5-month-old male Retriever/Pit Bull mix with a gentle and thoughtful nature. He's the quiet observer of his litter, preferring to take in his surroundings before joining in the fun. Weighing 40 pounds, he's expected to be a large dog when fully grown, just like his mom who weighs around 55 pounds. Rescued with his mother and siblings from a rural area in Texas, Bullseye has grown up in a loving foster home, learning to be a well-rounded pup. He enjoys dinnertime, belly rubs, and cuddling with his people, but he also loves to play and wrestle with his siblings. Bullseye is a loyal companion with a soft heart and an easygoing personality, making him a wonderful potential addition to any family.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and grow with consistent positive reinforcement, plenty of socialization, and ongoing training. Homes with another friendly, well-mannered dog are preferred to help mentor him. We also prefer homes where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time to ensure he gets regular potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, training, and interaction.

Bullseye is a young, growing dog and is up-to-date on his vaccinations.
Training & Support
Bullseye is potty trained, though some accidents may occur as he adjusts to a new routine. He is crate trained and is building confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. Continued positive reinforcement, consistency, and leash practice are recommended. He is also still learning about the world around him and will benefit from ongoing socialization with new people, places, sounds, and friendly dogs to build lifelong confidence.

Transporation
Bullseye is currently located in Houston, Texas. Transport to an approved adopter can be arranged by the rescue.
