Mowgli

Mowgli is an 8-year-old Shepherd mix who looks like he's had a tough life. He arrived underweight with inflamed skin, a patchy coat, irritated eyes, and painful ears. He also has a mass on his chest. Despite his difficult past, Mowgli has shown no aggression – not a growl, snap, or bark. He is cautious and a bit shut down, but he takes treats gently and allows petting. He was even spotted wearing the cutest little green jacket, as if quietly hoping someone would finally see him.

Mowgli needs a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and begin to heal.

Ongoing Health

Mowgli is dealing with multiple medical issues, including skin inflammation and infections, irritated eyes, painful ears, and a mass on his chest. He will need ongoing veterinary care to address these conditions.

Training & Support

Mowgli is a bit shut down and overwhelmed, so he will need a patient adopter to help him build confidence. He has shown no aggression, but he is cautious. Gentle guidance and positive reinforcement will be key to his success.
