Prince is a 3-year-year-old Great Pyrenees, tipping the scales at an impressive 130 pounds. He embodies the classic Great Pyrenees spirit, keenly aware of his surroundings and dedicated to his role as neighborhood security. He'll dutifully inform you of the Amazon driver, passing squirrels, and neighbors walking their dogs – important work that he hopes you'll acknowledge!
Despite his serious job, Prince is a wonderfully fun and silly companion with his family. He's also respectful of strangers. Prince enjoys playtime, which, true to his large working breed nature, comes in short, dramatic bursts of energy followed by a full, happy collapse.
Prince has a selective hearing ability, only registering what aligns with his priorities. He's an independent and thoughtful dog who is comfortable making his own decisions and isn't aiming to be an obedience champion. He is also a shedder and will bark at things he sees, fully embracing all the characteristics Great Pyrenees are known for. If you tell him he's been "bad," he tends to take it personally and might sulk a bit.

Prince needs adopters who truly understand and appreciate the Great Pyrenees breed and all of its unique quirks. He requires a securely fenced yard and cannot be trusted off-leash. A home with teenagers or older children would be the best fit for this magnificent boy.
