Meet Aspen! He's a handsome 53-pound boy with a heart of gold and a spirit that's overcome so much. Rescued from the notorious Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico and now a survivor of heartworm, Aspen is more than ready to find his loving forever family.

Aspen is a super smart pup who truly blossoms with structure, clear guidance, and plenty of time to build trust. Once he knows he can count on you, you'll discover a devoted, affectionate cuddle bug who just wants to be by your side.

Because Aspen can be a bit selective about who he trusts and thrives with consistent boundaries, he's looking for an adopter with experience in dog behavior. Someone who is dedicated to helping him continue to grow and succeed will be his perfect match!
