Freya

Freya, affectionately known as FreyFrey, is a charming and sassy girl with a heart of gold. She's estimated to be between 4-5 years old, but since she was a stray, her exact age is a bit of a mystery. Freya has been with us for nearly a year and is patiently waiting for her forever home. She loves to chew on bones and will happily destroy any fluffy toys you give her! Freya enjoys her foster family, but she's ready to find her own roost to rule. She has a soft spot for head and face rubs and can be quite the lovable companion once she warms up to you.

Ideal Home

Freya would do best in a home where she can be the queen of her castle. She gets along well with other dogs her size, but cats and birds are a definite no-go as she tends to see them as toys. Her pretty paws are not a fan of the cold or wet weather, so a home where indoor potty breaks are accommodated will be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Freya is spayed, fully vetted, and has been kept on heartworm prevention since joining the rescue.

Training & Support

Freya is mostly house-trained but will need a patient owner who can continue working with her to ensure no accidents, especially given her aversion to cold or wet weather. She is crate-trained and enjoys a comfy couch cushion or bed for her naps.
