He spent most of his life in an outdoor kennel, never experiencing the warmth of a home or the joy of a loving touch. Despite this, Hachi has an incredibly soft heart and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle spirit. He adores people, is wonderful with children, and is always eager to make new friends. He truly cherishes the simple things, like belly rubs and a cozy bed, which were once luxuries he couldn't even imagine. Hachi is a resilient soul who has overcome so much and is now looking for a family to cherish him. He enjoys car rides and would be a great adventure buddy, with a medium energy level that balances fun with relaxation.

Hachi is looking for a home where he is included, cherished, and loved. He does best with confident dogs and needs slow introductions to other canine companions.
Ongoing Health
Hachi is still working on gaining weight after years of being underfed. His ideal weight is closer to 60 lbs, so he'll need a patient owner who can help him reach his healthy goal with plenty of treats!
Training & Support
Hachi is crate trained and potty trained. He can sometimes try to be the "big tough guy" with more timid dogs, so confident doggy friends are recommended.
