Meet Pretzel! This handsome fellow is estimated to be around 1-2 years old and weighs about 72 lbs. He's a big, lovable bully mix with a charming brindle coat, a head tilt that will steal your heart, and a personality that's impossible to resist. Pretzel is a people-oriented pup who adores his humans and looks to them for guidance. He's eager, smart, and always wants to do the right thing, especially when treats are involved! While he's a big boy, he's still a puppy at heart and can get a little excited, sometimes jumping up and getting a bit mouthy when he's affectionate. He's a fast learner and with a little consistency and redirection, he'll master new manners in no time.
Ideal Home
Pretzel would do best in a home with a confident handler who can guide him on leash. He'd also thrive with a medium-energy, well-balanced dog companion who can help him learn appropriate play and boundaries.
Ongoing Health
Pretzel is up to date on all vetting, vaccinations, and preventatives. He comes with a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Pretzel is learning to manage his excitement and can sometimes jump up or be a bit mouthy when overstimulated. He will benefit from continued training in redirection and consistency. He is food motivated and knows how to sit. He is also strong on leash and enthusiastic when meeting new dogs, but with a confident handler and continued practice, he improves quickly.

Transportation
Pretzel is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transport.
