Meet Red, our longest resident! This smiley guy is a 4-year-old pittie mix who has been with us for 1.5 years. Red was rescued from a rural Florida shelter that was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton. He's an energetic and affectionate boy with a true zest for life. Red has been wonderful in our care, enjoying playtime in the yard, zoomies with staff, and plenty of snuggles from volunteers and his favorite people. He is fully housetrained and a favorite for doggy day outs and fostering! Red is happy 24/7 and is sure to put a smile on your face. He tends to prefer the company of female dogs and people, but with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all. To help him find his forever home, his adoption fee has been waived! Red is an easygoing, lovable goofball who will shower his family with a lifetime of love. We promised Red that the rest of his life would be the best of his life. Could that be with you?

Transporation

Red is located in South Carolina and we transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
