Little John (LJ)

Meet Little John, also known as LJ! This sweet boy was found as a stray with a missing paw and a host of other medical issues. Despite a tough start to life, LJ is a resilient and joyful dog who loves people and craves touch. He's also friendly with cats and dogs of all sizes, proving his loving nature. He's gaining weight and getting stronger every day, and we're working with veterinarians to determine the best course of action for his back leg. LJ is a true testament to the power of kindness and deserves a loving forever home.

Ideal Home

A loving and patient home where LJ can continue to heal and feel safe. He's doing great with cats and dogs of various sizes and loves people, though he can be a little cautious when meeting new humans initially.

Ongoing Health

LJ arrived with several medical issues, including severe emaciation and infected testicles. He also has a traumatic leg injury that is being evaluated for potential amputation. He is currently receiving veterinary care and is on the mend.

Training & Support

LJ is learning to trust again and craves affection. His tail wags so hard when he's happy that it used to bleed, a testament to his resilient spirit. He needs a home that can provide continued support as he heals and grows.
