Gayle

Gayle is a playful and happy medium-sized girl who is ready to find her forever home! She loves to spend her days snoozing quietly and her favorite activity is simply being with her people. Gayle is a smart and affectionate dog who enjoys playtime, whether it's a game of tug-of-war or romping with a ball. She is incredibly gentle and sweet, and her body wiggles like a bowl of Jello when she greets new people.

Ideal Home

Gayle would thrive in a home that can help her gain more confidence and exposure to the outside world. She would do best with a canine companion who enjoys active play and respects her boundaries, especially when it comes to her favorite toys. A big or submissive dog would be a great match for her. Gayle also prefers a fenced yard for potty breaks and outdoor time. She is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Gayle is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Gayle does exhibit resource guarding, and her foster family is actively working with her on this. Resources are available to help her adopter continue her training. She can be easily distracted on leash by runners, bikes, or skateboards, but has shown improvement. With consistent training, this can be further dialed in. She is treat selective and has shown a preference for cheese sticks.
