Rufus

Rufus is a 2-year-old, 15 lb neutered Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix with soulful eyes and a scruffy face that will melt your heart. He's currently a bit underweight but is expected to reach a healthy 18-20 lbs. Rufus was abandoned at an apartment complex and left to fend for himself, but despite his past, he's incredibly sweet, trusting, and eager to love. He is a true "Velcro dog," happiest when he's right by your side, whether that's on the couch, following you from room to room, or snuggling in your lap. He has a gentle, affectionate, and easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around.

Rufus would thrive in a home that wants a true companion – a loyal sidekick, couch buddy, and walking partner who will love them with his whole heart. He deserves a family who will never leave him behind again.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is a Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix and will likely require regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and prevent matting.

Training & Support

Rufus is crate trained and settles quietly. He's still working on house training, but this is expected to improve with a consistent routine and after being neutered. Like many young dogs, he occasionally expresses himself with gentle play nibbles.
