Charlize (Charlie)

Charlie is a sweet and loving 6-year-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, weighing in at 38lbs. She was once heartworm positive but has since made a full recovery and is now in excellent health! Charlie is a bundle of joy and her enthusiasm for life is infectious. Don't let her missing leg fool you; she's a tri-pod with an abundance of energy and can do anything a four-legged dog can! She loves to play, run, and can navigate stairs with ease. She's also a master of cuddling and enjoys lounging on the couch or even snuggling on your lap.

Ideal Home

Charlie is a social butterfly who loves people and wants to be friends with every dog she meets. While she generally gets along with other dogs, she sometimes misreads their signals, so a home where she can learn and grow in her social skills would be ideal. She is house-trained and can use a doggie door.

Ongoing Health

Charlie has fully recovered from heartworm and has a clean bill of health. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed.

Charlie is house-trained and can use a doggie door. She's a quick learner and with a little guidance, she'll continue to blossom. Her enthusiastic greetings can sometimes be a bit much for other dogs, so continued positive reinforcement and socialization will help her refine her doggy social etiquette.
