NORA

Nora is a 4-year-old, 43-pound bundle of joy who arrived at the shelter with a broken pelvis and road rash. After weeks of dedicated care and recovery in our Q Room, she has healed beautifully and is now ready to find her forever home! Nora is an enthusiastic explorer who loves spending time outdoors and has a natural curiosity about the world. She greets everyone with warmth, treating every person like a friend, and her playful, silly nature shines through, especially when squeaky toys are involved! She's a great walking companion, too, as she's leash-trained and happily checks in with her human. While her past is unknown, Nora is a resilient and sweet soul who is wide open to new experiences and friendships.

Ideal Home

Nora would thrive in a home where she can be the star of the show. She has not done well in dog testing at the shelter, so she would be happiest as the only dog in the household.

Ongoing Health

Nora has fully recovered from her past injuries. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and given a 30-day flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Nora is a social butterfly with people and walks well on a leash. She is eager to please and open to learning.
