Ongoing Health

Our dedicated medical team ensures all our rescue dogs are in the best possible health before adoption. Bigotes has received vaccinations for Parvovirus, Distemper, Adenovirus, and Parainfluenza. He is also vaccinated against Bordetella and Leptospirosis, and if he's over 5 months old, he's vaccinated against Rabies. For adult dogs, we conduct a Heartworm, Lyme's disease, Anaplasmosis, and Ehrlichiosis test (Idexx Snap 4Dx), as well as a full panel blood test. All our dogs are micro-chipped with free lifetime registration, dewormed, and treated with Bravecto for fleas and ticks. Bigotes is also spayed or neutered, with the procedure costing anywhere from $150 to $500+. We even trim their nails before they go home!
