Meet Showest Kennel. Showest Kennel is part of Showest Farm located outside of Ash Fork, AZ. We strive to breed only healthy working dogs. Genetic health testing and OFA testing is performed on our adults and we make breeding decisions only after careful thought and consideration as to how the parents will cross. All puppies are microchipped with FiNano (includes free lifetime registration), socialized and go with our health guarantee contract. Puppies must be kept intact until 2 years old for their health. We always take our puppies back. Our Australian Cattle Dogs help move our sheep and also compete in UKC/AKC conformation as time permits. They are kept natural as the breed should be, with long tails and front dew claws for function. We breed for level headed dogs who have great off switches and can relax in the home. They don't require excessive exercise and are easy to train. They make great pets for active homes. Our Central Asian Shepherds are full time livestock guardians, protecting our sheep and poultry. We also compete in UKC/AKC conformation as time permits. Ears and tails are always cropped/docked for safety and to meet the breed standard. Front dew claws are left intact. We focus on Russian Show Lines with strong working aptitude. Our dogs have stable temperaments and are predictable. They are functional dogs who are confident guardians at home but also polite in public. We have some uncommon lines in the USA and are proud to be helping introduce diversity in the USA by importing dogs from other countries.
