Meet Chaland. I breed from titled, health tested parents and utilize my doctorate in psychology and dog training certification to breed and raise puppies in an environment conducive to stable development and early skill acquisition. I am an AKC Breeder of Merit - Bronze Level Breeder. I started out as "just" a dog fancier who wanted to train my purebred dog to have basic manners. Really great mentors encouraged me to join and volunteer for dog clubs, to train to a higher level, and to compete with my dogs. That evolved into a desire to learn more about breeding and to begin a program of my own nearly 25 years ago. The way I raise puppies and the versatility of my dogs. Seven of my children are still at home and most of them are actively involved in dog training/showing. I also use a method of raising puppies that has evolved to incorporate elements of various puppy raising programs over the course of 20+ years. The dogs I produce are incredibly versatile and range from active companions to working dogs!
