Meet Violet!

Violet is a 1.5-year-old sweetheart who was found roaming the streets of Houston, TX, and despite a difficult start, she emerged as the most loyal dog you'll ever meet. She's a world-class cuddler whose tongue is always peeking out, and she'll army crawl across any surface to get closer to you. Violet is loyal to her core and absolutely loves playing tug with the hose, though she is terrified of squeaky toys. She has been shining at adoption events, meeting all sorts of people and dogs, and has survived the worst while still choosing to trust.

Ideal Home

Violet's ideal home would include an adopter who is willing to continue her training to help build her confidence. She also thrives with another dog friend, as she gains confidence from other dogs. While kid-friendly, she can be a little scared of loud little ones.

Ongoing Health

Violet is spayed, vaccinated, and has no special needs noted.

Training & Support

Violet is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash. She knows "sit" and is making huge strides with place and crate training.
