A little about them
Meet John, a 3-year-old Beagle mix weighing 35 pounds. After coming from a hoarding situation, John has been building confidence in his foster home and is beginning to show his sweet personality. He enjoys relaxing and snuggling on the couch with his family.
Ideal Home
John would do best in a quieter home with no children or older children. He can still startle easily and needs a patient family willing to help him continue coming out of his shell. He has done well with children he has met and gets along well with dogs.
Ongoing Health
John is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee includes age-appropriate Bordetella, DH(L)PP, and rabies vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and deworming.
Training & Support
John is house-trained and has had no accidents in the home. He goes into his crate with encouragement and is usually quiet, though he may whine occasionally. He is now doing well on leash, enjoys car rides, and has even visited a local forest preserve.
