Hope is a 2-year-old, 30-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a perfectly medium-sized body. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all preventatives, so she’s ready to head straight into her forever home. Hope can be a little shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and soon shows off her silly, independent spirit.
Hope is a medium-energy girl who enjoys a good play session just as much as she enjoys relaxing nearby once she’s had her fun. She absolutely loves toys and has a hilarious habit of digging through the toy box and carrying as many toys as she can to her favorite spot. With Hope around, there’s never a shortage of entertainment. She walks nicely on leash most of the time, though squirrels are her biggest weakness and may earn you a little extra pull during walks. Hope is also great in the car, making her a wonderful companion for adventures or everyday errands.
At home, Hope has great manners. She is house trained, crate trained for up to six hours, and has even been trusted to free roam while home alone without being destructive. She has no issues with food aggression or resource guarding, which makes daily life easy and stress-free. We have no history with Hope and cats.
Ideal Home
Hope would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children (12+) since she can get jumpy when she’s excited and a bit mouthy during play. She’s still young and learning to be gentle.
Ongoing Health
Hope is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on all preventatives.
Training & Support
Hope is very food motivated, loves toys, and is eager to keep learning with the right guidance. She can get jumpy when she’s excited and a bit mouthy during play, but is learning to be gentle.
