Hallie is a sweet and loving girl who has overcome a difficult past. She spent her entire life confined, so when she arrived at her foster home, she was amazed by the space. She explored the house and yard with wide eyes, and her zoomies have been a daily occurrence ever since! Hallie was a devoted mother to her three puppies, and she quickly learned to trust and love her foster mom. She adores being petted, snuggled, and especially enjoys sweet talk and belly rubs. Hallie loves sleeping in the big bed and has discovered the joy of playing with toys, thanks to her foster brother. She even learned to use doggie doors and has a great routine of sitting for bedtime treats.
Ideal Home
Hallie would thrive in a home where she can continue to gain confidence. She is still working on her fear of men, so a patient and understanding owner who can help her feel safe around them is essential. She would do best in a home where she can be the center of attention and doesn't have to worry about feeling confined.
Ongoing Health
Hallie is a healthy young dog who has completed all her necessary vet checks.
Training & Support
Hallie is a smart girl who is a work in progress. She has shown great progress in learning and adapting to her new environment. She is still a bit guarded around new people, especially men, and may bark from a distance. She would greatly benefit from continued training, particularly a board and train program, to help build her confidence and overcome her fear of confinement. With lots of love and consistent training, Hallie will blossom into an even more confident companion.
